2025 Canada Summer Games

Canada Games has grown into Canada’s largest multi-sport event since its first event in 1967. The event is considered the pinnacle of inter-provincial/territorial sport programs and a springboard to National level programs.

Over 4,000 athletes, coaches and managers will compete for their provinces and territories representing various sports. The Canada Games showcase the best of the best in sport and highlight the immense talents of our youth. The Games create a spirit of unity that spans each province and territory. People connect in ways that go beyond the field of play, forming bonds that are deeply rooted in friendship and a collective passion for amateur sport in Canada.

The indoor volleyball event will be hosted from August 19-24, 2025 in St John’s Newfoundland

    • 18 and under (18U) as of December 31, 2025 (2007 or later)

    • 16-20 athletes per gender will be selected to the training camps. These numbers will be communicated with the athletes during the selection process.

    • 12 female athletes and 12 male athletes will be selected to compete at Canada Games

  • December 2024 Training Camp

    Select Canada Games eligible athletes have been invited to a modified Team Ontario Elite program December 7-8, 2024. Athletes will train with the Canada Games coaches for the weekend, complete physical testing, and attend classroom sessions. Athletes not invited to this camp are still eligible to be considered for the Canada Games Roster.

    Athlete Identification

    2025 Athlete Identification is now open! For more information and the application link, please click here. Any athlete (age eligible) who would like to be considered for the Canada Games roster can submit an application to be reviewed by the Canada Games coaches. Coaches will review online applications, and observe athletes at Ontario Championships to make selections.

    Invite-Only Tryout/Training Camp

    The 2025 Canada Summer Games girls program will be hosting an invite only tryout May 31-June 1 at Mohawk College. Selections to attend this tryout will be based on the Athlete Identification process.

  • GIRLS PROGRAM- Invite only tryout weekend- May 31-June 1, 2025, Mohawk College

    BOYS PROGRAM- Weekend training camp prior to Slovenia Departure, July 12-14, 2025, location TBC (GTA)

    Training Camp #1- July 14-24, 2025, Slovenia

    Training camp #2- August 3-17, 2025, location TBD

    Canada Games Competition- August 18-24, 2025, St John’s NFLD
